This is the 'Hook' portion of the Hook & Loop System For Fabric. Hate to baste? Then the Hook & Loop System is the ticket! Attach your fabric instantly to the scroll rods, remove it, and reattach it in the blink of an eye. Enables you to maintain the tension needed to produce even stitches. This product is the FABRIC hook part. It comes in two strips on a one inch backing. Simply make one cut which will give you both pieces you need for your fabric.

There are two parts to the system which is a special Velcro product. Each has a sticky back. The first part (for scroll rods) permanently attaches to the scroll rods and is reusable over and over. You can even retrofit your existing rods as it is easy to apply. The second part (for fabric) permanently attaches to the project and is cut off after using. It is 1/2" wide. When you start a new project, you only replace the second part which goes on the fabric.

Attaching this to the fabric was so easy! When applied to the Velcro piece on the scroll bar, it holds my project evenly and securely. Make sure you purchase both parts to this ingenious product!!

I've been Cross Stitching for over 60 years now, this is the best way I have ever found to attach my Cross Stitch fabric to my scroll rods, keeps it very tight. I highly recommend this system to any type of stitcher, new or old.

I love using these scrolls for my stitching projects. I would only suggest that you add in the deion it is suggested that you use cotton batting around the scrolls in order to avoid creases in your project. I purchased cotton batting added it to the scrolls and it works wonderfully.

Previously, I have gotten the hook tape fabric side that was 3/8" wide. This tape is wider than I am used to and looks like it can be split into 2 pieces. I have not had a chance to use it yet as it is for my next project. I did like that the length if it is to be split into 2 is longer than the 3 yards stated by about 10 inches.

I finally used some and it works okay,just not as good as the original...find it will not hold as tight to the rod as the hooks are different to my original I have attached to the rods....but it will do for now...Thank you.

I love this product and it is very hard to get, especially for the fabric. I don't think I could do my cross stitching without it these days. So neat, will always order here when I start another project

I use this on all my stitchery. It prevents fraying on the top and bottom and holds the piece taut. Only once did it not adhere to the fabric and the only thing different was that it was 18 aida, so not sure why it would not stay attached. Otherwise, this makes stitching so much easier.

This is the second time I have reviewed this product. It is a must for any stitcher who works on a frame. It stays right where you put it and really prevents the fabric from moving around. Combined with the material on the frame rods, it can't be beat. Don't be fooled by other products, this one is the best. cjh

the E-Z Stitch no basting system is absolutely wonderful! I have been using scroll bars for years and use to have to sew the fabric on to the rod, which was a pain in the neck. With the E-Z stitch system, you just peel off the backing and stick it on and you are ready to stitch! Great product.

What a breeze stitching is now with this invention. I always hated having to get out the needle and thread and sewing the fabric onto the fabric on the scroll rod and using a pliers to pull the needle through. Don't have to hate getting started anymore. Love, Love this invention - About Time

If you work on a frame this product is invaluable! I wouldn't use my frame for a long time because attaching the fabric properly was just a pain. With the no baste system it's so easy and keeps my fabric in place until I'm ready to remove my project from the scroll bars. DON'T BE SWAYED INTO THINKING OTHER PRODUCTS WILL WORK AS WELL. This is the perfect system for the oak stand. It holds the cloth tight and adjustable when need be. I use my tomorrow's treasures oak stand everyday for cross stitch and embroidery. Easy to use velcro tape. No more hoop impressions in my cloth! YAY!

I don't know how all these ladies can give this product 5 stars!! I have to replace the product on the scroll rods usually after two projects, it starts to come off and roll up. Last project I stitched it on so it would hold, you shouldn't have to do that. I keep using it, hoping things will improve. It's a great idea, also it is way too pricey!! Maybe if it worked better for me I wouldn't be so critical of the price. Right now, I'm not real impressed.

I didn't enjoy working on a frame until the No Baste System came along. No more basting the fabric to the rod!! What a time saver and it doesn't come apart. Won't stitch without it!

I will not stitch without this product. It keeps my fabric taunt and enables me to attach the fabric to the frame straight. Basting the fabric to the rods rarely worked for me, but this system has worked every time. This is one item I will never be without.

The No Baste System works wonderfully! Really speeds up the getting ready part of a new project! I still occasionally use my old scroll rods with the strip to baste on, but only if my Velcro scroll rods are already in use. Need to get those old rods converted by applying the "No Baste System for Scroll Rods!"

I have used this product for a number of years and wouldn't stitch without it. It keeps an even tension on the fabric the full length of the scroll rod.
