from United States on 03/25/2024 - Do not recommend I recently purchased Product No. EDM-2999, Wood Split Rail Scroll Frame - 8.5" x 18". I was very disappointed with this product. First, when assembling so many wood shavings littered my table - it looked like I had been doing serious woodworking. Second, one of the slots in the dowel rod actually curves as it nears the closed end of the rod and I can't load my fabric into the dowel rod in a straight line which means my project is now crooked once fully loaded onto the frame. Finally, after looking at the product carefully once seeing all the shavings, I had to take the time to sand down some very rough areas on the wood frame in various areas including the holes in the rails, and the dowels themselves. The fact that this product is meant to hold delicate fabrics for needlework and also to be held in one's hands would seem to necessitate a surface that is as smooth as glass. I can't imagine ever using this on evenweave or linen and I'm not sure I can use it at all because of the curved cut on the rod. This issue is not the fault of 123stitch but the manufacturer. Unfortunately I can't return it will probably end up in our fire pit.
