from United States on 08/15/2025 - Falls over often I already had one of these frames (purchased years ago). I loved it, so I wanted to purchase another similar frame. Unfortunately, these frames are apparently made of balsa wood now. The frame is so lightweight that the weight of the Aida fabric constantly causes the frame to tip over. The frame is unstable. I love the concept, just don't love the type of wood they chose to build the frame out of.
from United States on 08/12/2022 - Adjustable I use various sizes of the split rails and different sizes of the side bars. These frames work so well for me. I allow a little extra fabric that wraps around the split rails. In my opinion, that helps to keep the fabric more taught. Instead of the wing nuts, I use the black knobs that make it easier for me to tighten them. I love that the height for the stand has 3 different height adjustments. This will help you to get the piece you are working on closer or further away. I really love that it does not damage my stitching when I need to scroll the fabric to adjust to the space I'm stitching in.

from United States on 01/14/2021 - Handy for what I need This is handy for what I need, haven't used it as yet and will do so on the next project as I don't want to change the fabric tension I have with the one in progress. Probably not as handy to use with linen fabric, better with Aida type texture. Hope it will be tight enough for the fabric.

from United States on 12/08/2014 - Bulky I bought this to make my project easier, but it is really big and bulky. Cannot use this while sitting on the couch. You actually will need to plce it on a hard surface to use, which I do not have room for in my living room. I wound up resorting back to a regular embroidery hoop.
