from United States on 11/03/2017 - Good bargain for useful frames This is a nice, useful set of interchangeable frames. So far, they work well. I use them for needlepoint, and they seem to hold the fabric fine. The only change I'd make is to use bolts with a groove. The nuts can get stuck - better if one could use a screwdriver to hold the bolts stationary while removing the nuts.

from United States on 03/04/2015 - Complicated I found the item to difficult to use. I had to have another person help me to just insert the fabric, then it wouldn't stay. I gave up after 30 minutes of trying. I think I will stick with hoops.

They were put in my utility room and I felt I wasted my money. I recently purchased the Split Rail Scroll Frame set by Edmunds and they work great. Wish I had bought these in the beginning. Enjoying my needlepoint even more now since I got these frames.

IN the middle of the rail the pressure isn't enough to hold fabric and it comes out. Need some clips to put near the middle to hold the fabric . Otherwise, these are just great and I love the ability to mix and match as needed for size. Price is good.
