Snow on Aqua Aida 16. 100% cotton 35"x 39". Color is overdyed with a white background color and subtle overdyed effects similar to DMC 598 and 3811, then white dots of varying sizes provide the snowy effect. HD means Hand Dyed mottled effect. HD fabrics have been surface treated with digital textile printing using pigment inks to give a hand dyed effect. More consistent in color and pattern than hand dyed. One side is in color; the reverse side is white. Colorfast and lightfast in all but the most vibrant colors, such as orange. May be hand washed in cool water as recommended for needlework.

This fabric looked like it had been cut with a butcher knife. It is very crooked, which renders part of it unusable. Raveling like crazy. Thought this would be cute for Christmas ornaments. But I probably will never use it. Can't believe it felt the store looking like it did.

I am just getting ready to use this piece of Aida fabric on Winter by The Cricket Collection. This is going to be my Christmas day start. I love the color of blue and it is just perfect for the pattern that I am going to stitch.

This is a firm aida printed with color on one side. It is a mottled teal/turquoise blue with white dots of different sizes. I bought this to use as a snowy looking background on christmas ornament patterns and it will be perfect for that. The color leans a bit more green-blue to me than the picture I see on this page.
