Type: Cross Stitch Patterns

Antique reproduction sampler from Hands Across the Sea Samplers! Note from the designer:

I have been looking for a "Home Sweet Home" sampler to stitch since the beginning of my needlework journey with samplers. Whilst I like the "motto" needleworks so popular with the Victorians, I wanted a traditional schoolgirl sampler to hang in my home. I was so excited when Ellen Barber became available to purchase. We very much hope that the home Ellen made for herself and her family was indeed "Home Sweet Home".

Pattern is stitched on the fabric of your choice using Soie 100/3 threads. Stitch count is 103 x 119. Finished size varies on the type of fabric you choose!

I am delighted to share this antique with you. It is from 1840 of Dutch origin.
