Model stitched over 2 threads on 35 Ct. Beige linen with DMC, Gentle Art Sampler threads and Weeks Dye Works floss. Stitch Count: 313W x 212H. Finished Size: 17 3/4" x 12 1/4".

It is all done in Cross Stitch over 2. The model was stitched on 40 count linen with NeedlePoint Inc. Silks. Stitch count is 96 x 166. Finished size is 4.8" x 8.3".

All that is known of the sampler are the stitcher's initial - ES. The sampler appears to be English and from around the mid 19th Century.
