This reproduction sampler from Jeannette Douglas features "Let the sweet work of prayer and praise employ my youngest breath, thus I'm prepared for longer days or fit for early death. Remember thy creator in the days of thy youth. Ann Perrin finished this sampler in the 14th year of her age April 19th, 1841." The model was stitched over 2 threads on 40 Ct. "linen" colored linen from Weeks Dye Works with Gentle Art Sampler threads and Classic Colorworks floss. Stitch Count: 318W x 350H. Finished size: 16" x 17 1/2". Specialty stitch used - Satin Stitch.

This adorable vintage sampler reproduction is from Ann Lambeth, age 10, in 1798.
The model is stitched on 38 count Legacy Linen Himalayan Fog 1 over 2 with
Silk N Colors from The Thread Gatherer. It is framed with a premade 5" by 7" frame. Stitch count is 72 x 108 and the finished size is 3.79" x 5.68".
This design by Little House Needleworks features an alphabet sampler and the some biblical texts. In the center is two houses all surrounded by flora and fauna.
