A stitching group I’m a member of recommended the Kreinik glow line for a ghost ornament I was designing and I hoped this would be perfect for the tongue/mouth. I will say the Kreinik brand glow is easily double in strength compared to the DMC one, and while the Daylight color is a very bright red/pink I found the glow to look more orange. If you use a UV light it glows a lovely red/pink but I don’t know how many people would be displaying it in such a way. A quick note on handling: This is a plastic filament ‘thread’ that comes wound on a sewing spool, so it’s very fussy to work with and twists easily. I tried some of my thread conditioner on it and huge difference! Even if you don’t have/use thread conditioner, I recommend doing a gentle/firm pulling on the strand to help untwist it as that helps a little as well. The thread conditioner did not effect the end glow either as I did a comparison test.
