While we still have kits in stock with Perforated Paper, newer Mill Hill kits are now being made with Perforated PVC. We were skeptical at first, but here's what our testing has revealed so far:
1. Perforated PVC looks and feels nearly identical to perforated paper, and nothing like plastic canvas. It's sturdy and easy to hold, and is slightly harder to bend.
2. Our needle and thread glide just as smoothly through the new PVC as they do through paper, and finished stitches on both materials look nearly identical.
3. The new PVC is some sturdy stuff. It's much harder to tear than the paper, so you can pull your threads as tight as you want without having to worry about deforming holes or ripping. We also expect the PVC to be more resistant to decay and yellowing.
All in all, while (like many in the community) we were originally hesitant about this change, our first impressions have been very positive.

As usual a great Mill Hill kit. I like to make 4 seasons projects and to have 4 small pictures to combine them in one place on the wall. You won't need extra nails or hooks, just change seasonal pictures. I think Mill Hill is one of the best companies.

I havent done this one specifically yet but did Tangled WebPicture turned out wonderful!I would give it a 5 star but ran out of floss on a couple of colors!Okay for me because I have DMC floss but if you dont, it could be a problem.I am an experienced stitcher so I dont waste floss!Anyway, minor issue compared to how cute it turned out!
