This Mill Hill kit is part of the ongoing Village series and features a doctor's office and home decorated for Christmas. The kit includes beads, JABC button, perforated paper/pvc, floss, needles, chart and instructions. Finished size: 5.25" x 5".
While we still have kits in stock with Perforated Paper, newer Mill Hill kits are now being made with Perforated PVC. We were skeptical at first, but here's what our testing has revealed so far:
1. Perforated PVC looks and feels nearly identical to perforated paper, and nothing like plastic canvas. It's sturdy and easy to hold, and is slightly harder to bend.
2. Our needle and thread glide just as smoothly through the new PVC as they do through paper, and finished stitches on both materials look nearly identical.
3. The new PVC is some sturdy stuff. It's much harder to tear than the paper, so you can pull your threads as tight as you want without having to worry about deforming holes or ripping. We also expect the PVC to be more resistant to decay and yellowing.
All in all, while (like many in the community) we were originally hesitant about this change, our first impressions have been very positive.

I love the Mill Hill kits. I have made more than 40 of the kits. I have 35 Christmas designs on my wall now. Next I will switch to the Main Street designs and then the Halloween designs. I like the kits because they are small and fun to do.

A very cute Mill Hill kit for the physician that has helped you get through the year. Directions are clear and easy to read. Kit together with recommended frame came out cute. Just add a easel for desktop display and it makes a nice Christmas gift.

Packaging was fine. Delivery was fast. Mill Hill kits are my favorite and this one did not disappoint me. I just wish these companies would separate the thread colors for you like Bucilla does. Or give you a color plate to help separate them.
