This delightful pair of English samplers are a low-cost stitch, as they are stitched entirely in DMC on "Vintage Country Mocha". I think they'd be wonderful to customize as birth samplers, or you could stitch the central motifs as pin-pillows.

Models stitched on 40-ct "Vintage Country Mocha" by Zweigart, using DMC. Full crosses over 2 only. Stitch count: 129w x 129h each. Framed in standard 8 x 8-inch frames. Suitable for Aida and any size fabric. Finished size is 6.45" x 6.45".
