I received the pattern, bought the dmc threads and started. I didn’t know if I should go with the other thread, but when I talked to a local Crosstitch person, they said if you went with the other thread, you will have to stitch x by c instead of a line of half xs and a line of going back and crossing the xs. That is why I chose the DMC. I think it will be easier in the long run. I ordered the 32 count Vintage country mocha Belfast fabric because the recommended fabric was sold out and it is great. I have no regrets. Although, I did end up using the backside of the fabric because I did not like the buttery swirl on the front. I don’t know what I will put in the name space because I don’t think I want my name large across the middle of the piece , but I am a little into stitching and I am really enjoying this pattern. I think it will be beautiful.
