Nurge high-quality Square (rectangular) ABS Plastic Embroidery Hoops are perfect for most styles of needlecraft, embroidery & cross stitch. They make it easy to sew into corners. There is a notch in one hoop that fits into a groove on the other that keeps the fabric firm when sewing. *The size of the hoop is taken from the inside of the hoop, not the middle, like on the wooden ones.

This hoop is sized 4.3" x 3.7" (110mm x 95mm) with a width/thickness of 1/3" (8mm) and is the color "blue".

I like that nurge is rectangular so we can stitch into corners. I bought the smallest for Christmas ornaments. I prefer a hoop rather than in hand, plus a hoop is kinder on hoop hand than holding fabric firmly.

I used to use the wooden hoops but found i was always tightening them. With these Nurge hoops, they are snug and no adjusting needed once set.

I have used Q-snaps for years but began having trouble because of the weight and I have a tremor in my hands which was making holding the q-snaps more difficult. I ordered the plastic hoops in each of the 4 sizes and am loving them. I don't think they hold the fabric quite as tight as the Q-snaps, but almost. I wish I would have ordered them a long time ago.

I use to stitch in hand but started having pain in my hands so decided to try a q snap or hoop. I found the q snap to be to bulky so I tried these Nurge hoops they are so nice they hold the fabric really well. the only complaint I would have is I wish they had more sizes.
