Nurge high-quality Square (rectangular) ABS Plastic Embroidery Hoops are perfect for most styles of needlecraft, embroidery & cross stitch. They make it easy to sew into corners. There is a notch in one hoop that fits into a groove on the other that keeps the fabric firm when sewing. *The size of the hoop is taken from the inside of the hoop, not the middle, like on the wooden ones.
This hoop is sized 6.4" x 5.7" (165mm x 145mm) with a width/thickness of 1/3" (8mm) and is the color "beige".

The hoop is well made but is heavier than I expected. I don’t feel I can pull the fabric as taut as I can with other hoops. My hand tires from holding it because it is heavier than my other hoop. Perhaps this would be better used with a standing frame.

As most designs and all fabrics are square, these make the greatest hoops. No more trying to get to the edge with a round hoop! I have bought the 2 largest sizes and love them. The 6.4X5.7 is perfect for the patterns I put on shirts. I used the largest one last week on the back of a denim jacket and it worked great. Highly recommend these to everyone. And the plastic is sturdy too.

These square hoops give you plenty of space without cutting too much fabric. Round hoops make it hard to work around the edges of your needlework but these give you plenty of room. Holds fabric very tight. I reach for these more than my scroll rods these days.

These hoops were recommended by Karen from Needlbugg. I really enjoy using the square hoops since it provides a larger stitching space. Hoops hold the material very taut. I purchased three different sizes and appreciate having the flexibility for different size patterns. 123Stitch shipped these as soon as they were available, great service.

I had read that these hold the fabric better than a hoop. So I decided to buy one. Have not used it yet. Seems easy enough to put fabric into . I have high hopes for this when I use it.
