These little pin pillows are companions to Red Bull and Odd Bird. The "Happy 250th" pillow features a three-tiered birthday cake flanked by two birds that were inspired by a motif on the main sampler. The birds are happily waving sparklers, which are worked in a long-stitch.
The Odd Bird's Garden pillow features a miniature version of the odd bird (on the Red Bull & Odd Bird sampler) - blue feet and all! The tulips were also borrowed from this sampler, planted around Old Glory.
Happy 250th pillow has a stitch count of 65 x 72 and the finished size is 3.61" x 4". Odd Bird's Garden pillow has a stitch count of 136 x 34 and the finished size is 7.56" x 1.89". Both pillows are stitched on 36 ct. Affogato by Fiber on a Whim with Weeks Dye Works, CLassic Colorworks, Gentle Arts, and DMC floss. Finished with Vintage Rick Rack trim by Lady Dots Creates.
