Plan to use DMC flosses, which are some of my favorite blues, and the called for 32 count vintage country mocha in Lugana. 123 stitch is always my go to for ordering anything for cross stitch, great prices and selection, fast and careful shipping. Both are stitched on 40-Count Wheat linen from Fiber on a Whim using Needlepoint Silks. The M. Lake pincushion has a stitch count of 81 Wide by 47 High. Finished size is 4.05 in wide X 2.35 in high.
This design was in part inspired by the art of the Pennsylvania Dutch. It's a cheerful design that would look great either framed or as a (larger) pincushion.
