Pattern is printed in color. Top red strip is VERY difficult to follow when copied. I always work from a copy of pattern(s). I specifically took pattern to library so I could lighten it. After several tries at copier I just gave up. I had to use original color pattern to do lettering. I love the colors in this. I substituted DMC thread for the WDW.
