Weeks Dye Works hand dyed, 100% linen fabric and is great for a variety of cross-stitch and embroidery projects. Original base used and not Zweigart. Not colorfast.
Please Note: Many fabrics are dyed in batches and made from natural fibers. As a result, color variation can occur between dye lots, counts, and fabric types, even under the same color name. Fabric dyers consider this normal and expected, particularly in vintage or antiqued fabrics, so feel free to contact us if selecting an exact shade is critical to your project.

I ordered this linen more out of curiosity than with a particular project in mind. It's a very dark rich brown, slightly mottled. It is too dark for most of my patterns and It has a looser weave and softer feel than some linens, but overall I'm really happy with it and will surely find a suitable project for it. As always, the edge comes pre-serged. Thanks so much for this very thoughtful service, 123 Stitch - it's much appreciated!
