Weeks Dye Works hand dyed, 100% linen fabric and is great for a variety of cross-stitch and embroidery projects. Original base used and not Zweigart. Not colorfast.
Please Note: Many fabrics are dyed in batches and made from natural fibers. As a result, color variation can occur between dye lots, counts, and fabric types, even under the same color name. I ordered this linen more out of curiosity than with a particular project in mind. It's a very dark rich brown, slightly mottled. It is too dark for most of my patterns and It has a looser weave and softer feel than some linens, but overall I'm really happy with it and will surely find a suitable project for it. As always, the edge comes pre-serged. Thanks so much for this very thoughtful service, 123 Stitch - it's much appreciated!
