Stitching on black fabric is tricky however Chalk Board Black Aida makes it so easy. Wish I would have bought it sooner.

Easy to use 14ct Aida in a great color. Stiff but easy to use, it will soften with use. I never had any issues and I love that I can cut my size from the larger piece.

Thus chalkboard aida is an excellent alternative if you have a hard time stitching on black. It's definitely lighter then black and gives a very nice subtle chalkboard look for charts such as Stitching with the Housewives.

Like the color of the chalk board aida 14 count fabric. Will be putting the Full Rainbow Mandala pattern on it and feel the chalk color will give a soft, subtle contrast to the floss colors used.

I am very happy with this aida fabric. I tried a different brand of black aida, and I was not able to see the holes. This aida is stiffer and much easier to use. I am very happy I bought it and will buy again.

I had been getting aida cloth here and there for future projects, and while I already had some regular black aida, I saw that the chalk board aida would be better for ease of use when stitching (i.e. seeing the holes) without detracting from the finished project. I was iffy at first because it's an off-black, but seeing it in person gives me hope that a future project will look great on it!

Great aida really looks like a used chalkboard. Superbly quick delivery and great customer service. Could not recommend this aida and 123 stitch enough

This cloth matches the color shown online, is of a medium thickness and seems good quality. I got the edge piece which I feel like takes away some of the 12" and it also has a perfume scent which I am not fond of.

This fabric is great to stitch the Chalk for the Home series by Hands on Design. I had initially tried 40 ct. black linen, but it was too small for me!

This fabric was difficult to find, but I found it here at 123Stitch.com. Was exactly what I needed. The only thing I would have liked was if it was sent to me rolled up rather than folded, because it took quite a long, long time to iron out all the creases.
