My Mother's Garden 2 is a follow up piece to my first design ever. The original was done as a tribute to my mom, as is this one. The verse, written by me, still chokes her up to this day!
Marigold is the sixth in a series of geometric floral designs, inspired by flowers from my mother's garden. Because all full cross stitch is used, any type of fabric is suitable.

I get a lot of requests to do smaller designs. I do try, but often the designs grow with my imagination. However, on occasion I force myself to behave! Sweet Hearts is a fun little monochrome design done mostly in cross stitch with a few little Rhodes stitches thrown in for some texture.
You know how much I like diagonals. It was inevitable this would happen someday. This actually started as a stocking, but I figured there would be those who didn't care about stockings but wanted to stitch it as a sampler, so I took the liberty of getting ahead of the request. :)
