This beautiful design from Summer House Stitche Workes features a cozy red house in the center, white picket fence, and gorgeous lace and floral border.

The model was stitched on 40 Ct. Cream & Sugar linen from Fiber on a Whim with Weeks Dye Works floss. Stitch Count: 175W x 175H. Finished size is 8.75 in wide X 8.75 in high.

You can almost smell the fragrant orange blossoms on this design! Using a unique palette of soft orange and lavender, this verse from Nehemiah is displayed both boldly and gently. The blooms are dancing joyfully around the words, paired with the citrus fruits for a special color balance.

Milady's Posies is a beauty, if I do say so myself. The center "posy" is a reproduction of an antique powder compact. The flowers were stitched on silk gauze which decorates the top of the compact.
