Note from the designer: Since I'm now a resident of Baltimore County, Maryland, it felt totally appropriate that I design a Baltimore Album Quilt Sampler. This was such a fun piece to design! It took lots of research and the more I researched the more I loved the entire concept!
I couldn't resist the urge to create another Quaker Stocking after the enthusiasm I saw for my Quaker Christmas Stocking! This new piece uses the exact same linen and silks as the Christmas stocking.
It is stitched on 40-Count Wheat linen from Fiber on a Whim using Needlepoint Silks. Stitch count is 173 x 447. Finished size is 8.65" x 22.35".
Model stitched over two threads on 40 Ct. Heritage by Picture This Plus using Needlepoint Silk and Thread Gatherer Silk n Colors. Stitch count 145x136.
This quaint design by Kathy Barrick is a beautiful Quaker style pattern featuring a three story brick house with a red door surrounded by themed imagery.

This piece was inspired by the wonderful children's book Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown. It was certainly one of my favorite books to read to Liz when she was a little girl and definitely one of her favorites as well!

I was invited to join the XStitch the Rainbow team and design a piece using the Night Garden palette. Each designer was assigned the same ThreadworX colors and a maximum size piece to design. And this is what I designed!
