Our stocking is stitched on 40-Count Paperbark from Fox and Rabbit using Needlepoint Silks. Stitch count for the stocking is 172 x 447. Finished size is 8 1/2" x 22 1/4". Stitch count for the sampler is 81 x 443. Finished size is 4" x 22 1/8".

Note from the designer: As you can see from the photo of the cover sheet, I've only stitched the stocking. The sampler version image was created in my designing software. I was invited to join the XStitch the Rainbow team and design a piece using the Night Garden palette. Each designer was assigned the same ThreadworX colors and a maximum size piece to design. And this is what I designed!

Pattern is stitched on 40 ct Wheat from Fiber on a Whim using Threadworx threads. Stitch count is 59 x 60. Finished size is 2.95" x 3".

Model stitched on your choice of fabric using either Needlepoint Silks or DMC. Stitch count of larger sampler 119 x 116 with a finished size of 8.5" x 8.29" on 28 count fabric. The smaller sampler has a stitch count of 55 x 55 with a finished size of 3.93" x 3.93" on 28 count.

Elisabeth LeConte, 1786 is a reproduction of an antique sampler I found here in Maryland. This was a teaching piece at the 2023 Sunshine Stitchers Retreat in Florida last spring.

My reproduction is stitched on 40-Count Hawthorne linen from Fiber on a Whim using Needlepoint Silks. The stitch count is 197 Wide by 167 High.
