The Shepherd's Year is a new series beginning with June & July. Sweet little sheep are enjoying the view of each month in the year under a green arbor and atop a little hill. The series will be released two at a time, the next being August & September.
This design is an homage to one of my all time favorite books. Charming farmhouses, a quaint schoolhouse, red clay roads, a beautiful lake, and of course blooming orchards all around make this the perfect home for everyone's favorite Anne....don't forget the "e".
A group of owls can be called by several names. I chose Parliament because it sounded the most regal! I show 2 fun finishing options.

You can almost smell the fragrant orange blossoms on this design! Using a unique palette of soft orange and lavender, this verse from Nehemiah is displayed both boldly and gently. The blooms are dancing joyfully around the words, paired with the citrus fruits for a special color balance.
This design is one of 12 in the Feathered Friends Collaboration. 12 designers created a birdhouse-inspired design for each month of the year. As you can see, mine is for March! I was so thrilled to include a little robin surrounded by some pretty dogwoods (one of my favorite flowers, for sure).
