I am pleased to introduce a new pattern! A French redwork marking sampler stitched by Rosalie Amphoux Vauvert. I love it for its small size and simple alphabets and numbers, some worked rather plainly and others quite prettily.

Pattern was stitched on 36 Alabaster from Weeks Dye Works using The Gentle Arts floss. Stitch count is 127w x 130h. Finished size is 7"w x 7.25"h.

Pattern is stitched on 40 ct Parchment using Classic Colorworks belle soie floss. Stitch count is 177 x 262.

Model stitched on 28 ct. raw natural cashel linen using DMC floss. Stitch count is 117 x 111 and the finished size is 8.36" x 7.93".

Jane's sampler has been reproduced using Soie d'Alger floss. The stitch count is 217 x 290. Stitch on fabric of your choice.

Note: Soie #390 is inactive. The suggested substitution is #289 (not listed).
