My Sampler Seasons series was very popular, and the response to it blew me away! I thought I would add on to the series with some holiday versions, so the first will be Halloween.

This is a reproduction of a Dutch Sampler. It depicts a red stag, a number of flower pots and four rather inconspicuous birds.

The model was stitched over 2 threads on 35 Ct. Gray Linen from Weeks Dye Works with Gentle Art Sampler threads and DMC floss. The stitch count is 264W x 260H and the finished size is 15" x 14 3/4".

Model stitched over 2 threads on 46 Ct. Vintage Autumn Gold by Lakeside Linens with NPI Silk. Stitch Count:187 x 183 and the finished size is 8.13" x 7.96".

Pattern is stitched on 40 ct Vintage Navy Bean linen from Lakeside Linens using either The Gentle Arts or DMC floss. Stitch count is 149 x 116.

Stitched on 28 count linen of your choice, using DMC. Stitch count: 118W x 270H. Finished Size is 8.43 in wide X 19.29 in high.

Stitched on 36 count Legacy linen by Picture this Plus, one strand of floss over two linen threads with Gloriana Silk floss in Flamingo, requires two skeins. Stitch count is 179 x 186 and the finished size is 9.94" x 10.33".

Ann Jefferson stitched her sampler at the age of 10. A sweet marking sampler with alphabets and sweet strawberries and pots of flowers in bold colors. The stitch count is 129 wide by 137 high and is stitched mostly in cross stitch with one band of 16-leg eyelets. This sampler can be stitched on linen or aida. Finished size on 32 Ct is 8.06" x 8.56".
