Maybe you should call me the "Goose Girl". Despite some unfortunate encounters with nasty geese in my formative years, I love geese. As much as I enjoy flocks flying overhead, I'm especially fond of the quilt kind, to the extent that a quilt made entirely with flying geese is not uncharted territory for me.
Something old - a traditional block. Something new - a pretty collection of fabric. Something borrowed - a favorite old pattern. Something blue - all the lovely blue prints in this collection.
There's not a single y-seam to be found here - and it's a whole lot easier to make than it might appear. It's just cut, sew, press. Cut some more, sort triangles into stars, lay it all out, sew some more, press some more, really. It's that simple! Finished size 35" x 40".
