Collected from German, Italian, Scottish, Dutch, English, and American samplers, this book of alphabets takes off from where the previous edition, Alphabets from Early Samplers, ends. This antique sampler immediately caught my eye simply because it was stitched in purple, my favorite color. There is something about a sampler worked in one solid color that I find so beautiful and timeless.
