Sale On Reproduction Samplers Cross Stitch

This sampler was brought to me by Stephanie Jirak of Lincoln University, PA. She is the Great Great Great Granddaughter of Nancy Anne Cassell. The family history is included in the chart.

Pattern is stitched on 28 ct Vintage Buttercream using Gloriana and Classic Colorworks threads. Stitch count is 162 x 152. Finished size is 11.6" x 10.9".

Pattern is stitched on 36 ct Cocoa from Weeks Dye Works using Classic Colorworks, DMC, and Weeks Dye Works threads. Stitch count is 139 x 207.

The model was stitched using Foxtail Millett by Legacy Linen which is available in 45ct. The comparable colours in Legacy's Linen's range are Victoria Sponge Cake in 30ct, Corn Tassel in 37ct and Sycamore Seedpod in 53/63ct.The model was stitched using Soie 100.3 from Au Ver Soie. We have included below conversions for Soie d'Alger and DMC.

A nostalgic look back to a simpler place and time. This quaint sampler shows a Swiss Shepherd and his family standing in their band-sampler garden in the shadow of the alphabet mountains. Hannah Judge's house with verse are a sweet sentiment for this little girl of 7 years.

This cute, fast stitch is new to the Willow Samplings line of our designs. It is very easy to frame yourself.

Pattern is stitched on 40 ct linen using Au Ver A Soie Silk threads with DMC conversion. Stitch Count: 200 (w) x 155 (h). Finished size is 10" x 7.75".

This is a primitive stitch added to the Willow Samplings line of designs. It is very colorful and the verse is telling. Ann was 10 years old in 1824 when she stitched her sampler.

Catharine Shenaman, Cumru Township, c. 1840 - A Berks County, Pennsylvania Sampler
