I've selected my favorite parts of an antique sampler in my collection and combined them to create this smaller adaptation. My favorite part is that thick border at the bottom!

This Baltimore-style sampler is a tribute to the bond of sisters. The quote reads:"Beside a well one does not thirst. Beside a sister one does not despair."

It's a circus of interlocking circles! Pick your favorite floss color and have fun with this unique design! Use 1 or 2 strands of DMC or Hand-Dyed floss over 1 or 2 threads of linen (you'll need about 9 skeins of DMC floss). Stitch Count: 247W x 185H. Model stitched with DMC 111 (variegated gold) on 32 Ct. Black Evenweave.

This monochromatic sampler features fanciful birds and flowers, along with numbers and the alphabet.

It was stitched with 1 ply of Gloriana silk floss in Iris over two threads stitched on 40 count linen. Stitch count is 97 x 153 and has 5142 cross stitches. Finished size is 4.85" x 7.65".
