This sampler is an adaption from the Harmon Museum in Lebanon Ohio. Lydia stitched her sampler on linen with wool floss. She was 11 years old at the time.

Eugenie Eudocxie Duval 1860 is not new, but I stitched it again over the Christmas holidays. Now the pattern is proposed with this new picture because the original was really very damaged. Stitch count is 368 x 265.

I just love the way she turned out! Mary is the second sampler in the Samplings in Color, where I take a very simple little sampler and give her a makeover, although the sampler is a reproduction, and the colors are in keeping with the original.
