All that is known of the sampler are the stitcher's initial - ES. The sampler appears to be English and from around the mid 19th Century.

The model was stitched over 2 threads on 36 Ct. Light Sand linen with Needlepoint Inc Silks (DMC conversions are provided). Stitch Count: 114W x 164H. Finished Size: 5 5/8" x 8 1/8"

Package contains patterns for both a multicolor and one color version of the design. The models were stitched on 32 Ct. Light Examplar by Lakeside Linens with DMC, Gentle Arts and Olde Willow Stitchery threads (not listed). Stitch Count: 222W x 139H. Finished size: 13.8" x 8.6".

Model stitched one over two on 40 Ct. Vellum from Picture This Plus using Weeks Dye Works. Stitch Count: 271W x 351H. Design Size: 13.8" x 17.7".

Note: The 40 count Vellum fabric listed includes a 3 inch border for framing.
