Inspired by my love of libraries, this design features an open book that is sprouting flowers and mushrooms with birds and a butterfly floating above. It reads: "the very existence of libraries affords the best evidence that we may yet have hope for the future of humanity".
This sampler is an ode to the classic mourning samplers of old, complete with a weeping Willow tree and cemetery urn, but wit's a modern twist, incorporating references to many favorite authors, movies, and science fiction television shows.
