I have done dozens of cross stitch samplers and this is by far the nicest linen I've ever worked with. The strands are uniform, but not too perfect, and the linen is soft and supple. This will be my linen of choice for all future projects.

Raw Cashel is one of my favorite linens to stitch on. It feels good in hand and the holes are easy to see. A bonus is that 123stitch always serges the edges of cross stitch fabric.

Zweigart has a perfect hand - not too stiff and not too floppy soft and never scratchy. The weave is good, too. No "see through " linen like some other brands. There IS a difference when stitching on linen. Always look for the orange thread woven into the selvage then you know it's Zweigart. I only wish they had a bigger variety of colors.
