Kit Includes: Beads, perforated paper/pvc, needles, floss, chart and instructions. Size: 3" x 4.75".

While we still have kits in stock with Perforated Paper, newer Mill Hill kits are now being made with Perforated PVC. We were skeptical at first, but here's what our testing has revealed so far:

1. Perforated PVC looks and feels nearly identical to perforated paper, and nothing like plastic canvas. It's sturdy and easy to hold, and is slightly harder to bend.

2. Our needle and thread glide just as smoothly through the new PVC as they do through paper, and finished stitches on both materials look nearly identical.

3. The new PVC is some sturdy stuff. It's much harder to tear than the paper, so you can pull your threads as tight as you want without having to worry about deforming holes or ripping. We also expect the PVC to be more resistant to decay and yellowing.

All in all, while (like many in the community) we were originally hesitant about this change, our first impressions have been very positive.

As you can tell from my order history, I love Mill Hill Graphics beaded kits. This Santa is absolutely gorgeous. I finished him two days ago. The only issue was having to have ten needles going and changing colors every few stitches. However, he was/ is well worth the effort.

I love this line of Santa ornaments! I have a whole Christmas filled with them! The instructions are clear and they don't take too ling to stitch!It's great to find them at a great price on 123 Stitch!
