Note from the designer - "A classic Quaker sampler from the Delaware Valley, this sampler demonstrates the style and many of the motifs that make them so easy to identify. The inner oval vine-and-leaf cartouche surrounding the alphabets probably originated at the Westtown School in Chester County. It is worked in chain stitch with counted thread satin stitched leaves.
The three-branched carnations, potted flowers, lilies of the valley, rose, paired birds, tulip, and bird-in-bough motifs are all typically Quaker, as is the soft muted color scheme of blue-greens and dusty rose. The blocky lettering in her name and the date are also commonly found on Quaker samplers. Stitches used in the sampler are cross over one and two threads of linen, counted thread satin, Algerian eyelet, chain, rice and herringbone.
On 30 count linen the finished size will measure approximately 16-1/2" x 11-1/2" when complete and is recommended for beginning to intermediate level needle workers. Stitch count: 247 x 171. Recommended cut size for 30 count: 21 x 16.

This adorable vintage sampler reproduction is from Ann Lambeth, age 10, in 1798.
The model is stitched on 38 count Legacy Linen Himalayan Fog 1 over 2 with
Silk N Colors from The Thread Gatherer. It is framed with a premade 5" by 7" frame. Stitch count is 72 x 108 and the finished size is 3.79" x 5.68".
This design by Little House Needleworks features an alphabet sampler and the some biblical texts. In the center is two houses all surrounded by flora and fauna.

Ann Hunt inscribed the town she stitched her sampler in as Nailsea in 1805. Nailsea is a town in Somerset, England.
