We never get tired of patriotic designs because patriotism is always in style! This sampler has the Pledge of Allegiance beautifully framed by an American flag motif and at the center a glorious eagle, stars and a classic red, white and blue color scheme.

Stitch count 120w X 162h. Finished size on 14-ct fabric 8-1/2" X 11-1/2"

Model stitch on 30 count Linen using Gentle Arts and Weeks Dye Works threads. Stitch count is 75w x 85h. Finished size is 5" x 5.67".

If the entire collection is stitched on one piece of linen the model will be stitched on 30 ct. Olde Town Blend. Stitch count is 387 x 261. Finished size is 25.8" x 17.4".

Stitch Count: 90x73. Both models stitched over 2 threads on 32 Ct. Lambswool linen with DMC floss. Finished sizes are 5.63 in wide X 9.06 in high and 5.63 in wide X 4.56 in high.

Model stitched on 36 Ct. Oaken linen by Picture This Plus with Weeks Dye Works floss, Gentle Art Sampler threads, and Classic Colorworks floss. Stitch Count: 273W x 275H. Design Size: 16" x 16".

Note: To achieve the variegated look of Weeks Dye Works palomino use DMC 3012/3011.

Model stitched on your choice of 16 count or 18 count fabric with DMC floss. Stitch count: 263W X 359H. Finished size is 14.61 in wide X 19.94 in high for 18 count and 16.44 in wide X 22.44 in high for 16 count.

NOTE: Although the picture shows all 4 seasonal bands in the series, this pattern is for the top "Spring" band. Subsequent seasons will be sold separately.

The model was stitched on 36 Ct. Valley Forge linen using Weeks Dye Works, Gentle Art, and Classic Colorworks floss (includes DMC conversion). The stitch count is 163 x 50 and the finished size is 9.06" x 2.78".

The small, plump, ground-dwelling quail is often identified by its distinctive head plume. They prefer running to flying. Due to their tendency to mate for life, they symbolize loyalty and devotion. The 2026 Quail Sampler joins my growing collection of monochromatic bird samplers.

Here we find an alphabet intertwined with irises, religious symbols with singular shapes, and a border of stylized roses that seems to whisper the elegance of days gone by.
