This is a revised version of an old design (#113). The original 2015 design has been out of print and I decided to rework it. JABC buttons are included. A cardinal is perched atop a basket of winterberry leaves berries.

Pattern is stitched on Fog Cashel using DMC threads. Stitch count is 80 x 112.

Model stitched on 36 count Baked Clay from Fox and Rabbit using Au Ver A Soie 100.3 Silk. DMC alternatives also provided. Stitch count is 161 x 255.

Au Ver A Soie 100/3 #390 is discontinued - use DMC 930 as a replacement.

Model stitched on 36 ct Vintage Light Examplar linen from Lakeside Linens using Weeks Dye Works, The Gentle Arts and DMC thread (with full DMC conversion available). Stitch count is 65 x 86.

A banner from Needlework Press featuring alphabets! Model was stitched on 40 count Paperbark hand dyed linen from Fox & Rabbit and stitched with silks from Soie 100/3. DMC conversion is included in the chart. Stitch count is 436 x 40. Finished size is 21.8" x 2".

The model was stitched using Foxtail Millett by Legacy Linen which is available in 45ct. The comparable colours in Legacy's Linen's range are Victoria Sponge Cake in 30ct, Corn Tassel in 37ct and Sycamore Seedpod in 53/63ct.The model was stitched using Soie 100.3 from Au Ver Soie. We have included below conversions for Soie d'Alger and DMC.

This is a reproduction of an unfinished German sampler which bears typical characteristics of Saxon samplers. Uses cross stitch, back stitch, a few Algerian eyes, and Satin stitch.

Model stitched over 2 threads on 40 Ct. "linen" colored linen from Weeks Dye Works with Gentle Art Sampler threads. Stitch Count: 237W x 670H. Finished size: 11.85" x 33.5".

Model stitched on 36 Ct. "beige" colored linen from Weeks Dye Works with DMC threads. Stitch Count: 286W x 324H. Finished size 16" x 18".

This design features the text "Vivez longtemps soyez heureux Bien chers Parents ce sont mes voeux." A wish from a child to her parents, for long and happy lives. They are surrounded by birds and flowers, while shepherding lambs in the French countryside.

This design from Reflets de Soie has lots of bright pink roses, an alphabet sampler, and the text "Heloise Cornu 1896".
