Cross stitch pattern from Modern Folkart Embroidery featuring an English period sampler based on the stitching of Ellen Hooker in 1843. The sampler features full crosses, crosses over 1, Algerian eyelets and four-sided stitches (which. an be replaced by simple backstitches if desired).
A reproduction sampler from Reflets de Soie, worked all in red, featuring 6 alphabets and "Emerence Van Shembrouck Ostende 1896."
Model stitched on 16 ct. Zweigart linen using DMC and Soie d' Alger thread. Stitch count is 293 x 307.
This design by Reflets de Soie features an alphabet and number sampler with lots of flower. The bottom of the design reads "Marie Soulard Cholet Annee 1896".
Model stitched on 40ct Linen of your choice using Gloriana thread.
