This is the sampler of Lammegien Pot, a girl born in the province of Drenthe in the Netherlands. Drenthe samplers are relatively unknown, so to have one in my personal collection is quite special. This charming sampler was worked by Gerritje Broekhuis in 1848, who also worked a sampler in 1857 (which is also available here). The sampler features only full crosses and has no specialty stitches, and can be worked on any material (linen, aida etc).
