from United States on 08/27/2015 - Better than a wooden hoop! I've always been skeptical of plastic hoops - I've never found one that worked very well. But the Clover hoop does just what I want it keeps the fabric very taut, without having to pull on the fabric outside the hoop constantly just to keep it tight. I thought I had the best wooden hoop you could get, but this one far surpasses any wooden hoop I've ever used.
from United States on 03/08/2014 - Works Perfectly! I was always a q-snap gal, but find the round hoops easier to handle and hold. Love this embroidery hoop and the screw thingy isn't hard to tighten or open. It keeps the fabric very tight too.
