I have been cross stitching for over thirty years. These are by far the best hoops I have ever used. They keep the fabric nice and taut. I have one in each size and plan on buying more.

This shape and size is good for viewing the entire design while stitching, of course, depending on the size of the design on the particular fabric. I really like this. I found no problem with the tension on the fabric although I have heard stitchers say otherwise. I may buy more of these hoops.
