100% 40 Ct. hand dyed Newcastle Linen by Picture This Plus.

Picture This Plus says: "Measurements are pre-dyeing. They do shrink a bit in the dyeing process - especially the Luganas."

This picture provides a small glimpse of one piece of hand-dyed fabric. While Picture This Plus tries their very best to achieve the same color from dye lot to dye lot, please be aware that all hand-dyed fabrics have some differences in their variegation and patterns.

Colors may also look different depending on your computer monitor or phone screen. Feel free to reach out to us if you're unsure about the exact color of a fabric!

Please Note: Many fabrics are dyed in batches and made from natural fibers. As a result, color variation can occur between dye lots, counts, and fabric types, even under the same color name. Fabric dyers consider this normal and expected, particularly in vintage or antiqued fabrics, so please feel free to call us if selecting an exact shade is critical to your project.

The cut of linen I received looks like the picture on my monitor. I don't think the DMC 3047 picture reflects it in any way. The linen is somewhat stiff (not in a bad way) probably due to the dying process. I hope to use it for Seven Sheep Sampler by The Scarlett House. It has been difficult to choose a linen that won't overwhelm the colors of the silk threads in this project, while still achieving the antique effect of a reproduction. As always, I appreciate the large selection of fabrics and threads that 123stitch offers.
