From Diane Jourdan, a traditional Quaker sampler stitched on 34 Ct. Cream Devonshire linen with Vikki Clayton Hand Dyed Fibers (not available in 45 yds of Rouge) or DMC, or Au Ver a Soie. Stitch Count: 196W x 247H. Finished Size is 11.2 in wide X 14.11 in high in 35 ct.

Model stitched on 36 Ct. Vintage Pecan Butter linen using Weeks Dye Works and Gentle Art Sampler Threads. Stitch count is 183W x 99H.

According to a note attached to the back of the original sampler, it was probably made near Newtown, Pennsylvania.
