from United States on 09/22/2025 - Definitely great at holding grip, But..... Hoop-La is popular for a reason. They're cheap, accsessable, and really do provide a lovely grip on fabric. B U T. In my experience over time these hoops sort of slowly destroy themselves. Maybe I'm putting too much tension on them, but the metal bit at the top will drag into the plastic over time and lose tension entierly, which is a disappointing flaw.

from United States on 04/20/2024 - Susan bates 6in hoop I have always used Susan Bstes hoops. This is the first time that I have been disappointed. The hoop was very rough all the way around. It was so bad that I was afraid that it was going to damage my fabric. It also didn't seem to hold my fabric as taut as my older hoops. Very disappointed!
