The sample pictured by my computer monitor indicated that the fabric has a slight blush tone. It does not. However, as others have stated, it is a lovely fabric with a nice hand and is a good neutral color, closer to DMC 842

This is wonderful to work with. I usually stitch on 28 count linen, and was apprehensive about going up to 32, but had no trouble at all with this. The color is quite versatile.
