Model stitched on 45 Ct. Meadow Rue from Lakeside Linen but it is suitable for any linen count. One strand of Gloriana Tudor silk stitched over two. Stitch count 135 x 181.

Model stitched over two on 46 Ct. Vintage Autumn Gold by Lakeside Linen using Classic Colorworks Belle Soie, Dinky Dyes & Gloriana. Stitch count 193x273 (approximate size 15x18)

Mary is a very fun piece to stitch. The floweres and leaves are filled in with Stem Stitch and the basket is stitched in two layers.

The name and style of this sampler led us to investigate whether it was created in Spain or Mexico.
