Our model was stitched on 32-count Dirty Teacup linen from Needle & Flax using two strands of DMC over two threads of linen. NPI conversion also included. Also required but not listed for NPI option: NPI 625. Stitch count: 117 wide x 89 high.

The model was stitched over 2 threads on 36 Ct. Antique Lace by Seraphim with Weeks Dye Works floss. Stitch Count: 85W x 95H. Finished size: 4.72" x 5.27". Embellishments included.
This charming sampler was worked by Gerritje Broekhuis in 1848, who also worked a sampler in 1857 (which is also available here). The sampler features only full crosses and has no specialty stitches, and can be worked on any material (linen, aida etc).
